'Allo m'dears :-) Glad this community is finally up and running! Right, so, like gogo, my appologies to those of you who know me and have seen this ^^ It took me forever, but I'm happy with how it turned out. YES YES, I KNOW it's a famous scene from the movie that's been painted before blah blah blah... So, all that said, enjoy my luvs for without further ado I give you death by Oscar/Bosie [Stephen/Jude] cuteness :

:-) I could just stare at it for hours. It is so cute and the scene just feels very real to me more so than some of the rest of the movie. Those two are just so adorable together *grins*

I know what you mean! I've only read one, and I adored it, but I am sure there is stuff there that simply went over my head. I bet it was fun though to take a class where you got to read one. In my survey course for Brit. Lit we did Chaucher, Donne, Marvell and the like. (Not that I don't like them, but one of the Jeeves books would have been a very welcome change ~_^).

It's been far too long since I saw that movie. I shall watch it again today when the mail arrives -- yay for finding stuff for 23 cents on Amazon. ^^

I was extremely lucky my Survey class happened to be doing Victorian and Romantics. It was fate -- you can't tell from the course lists what any of the Survey classes will be covering, and they all primarily use the same huge-arse anthology book with any other books listed as "TBA" until the teacher hands out the actual syllabus. My school has some serious organizational issues. e.e

I forget the name of the Jeeves book we did but it's the one about the cow creamer and I have this to say about it: "Eulalie" has more meaning that you can POSSIBLY comprehend even if you tried to imagine it. ;) I should find my notes and drop them into one of the LJ communities dedicated to the subject.

Amazon.com will be the death of my pocketbook, I swear it! ;-)

You were very, very lucky! I would have given a limb to take a course like that! Unfortunately, the closest I've come is reading "The Picture of Dorian Gray" in another survey class, so I guess I can't really complain! *hugs her dearest darling Oscar* Your school sounds a lot like mine in terms of organization, I never know what to expect really until I show up for class...and do NOT get me started on huge-arse anthologies, I swear to GOD the "Norton Anthology of Literary Theory and Criticism" will haunt me until I die ::shifty eyes::

Hrmmmm, never read that one, but I'll have to look into it! I'm always up for a challenge and even though I'll miss stuff it sounds like it's worth a read :D You definately should try and find your notes as I would be uber interested to read 'em!
